Martin Bakole apologizes for sharing video of child molestation

Bakole claims he was trying to “expose” the abuser

British boxers have not taken this whole “quarantine” business well. Billy Joe Saunders had his license yanked after uploading a “joke” how-to video on beating your partner, Scott Fitzgerald was arrested and charged with common assault and witness intimidation after a “knock-off” with his ex and her family, and now Martin Bakole is apologizing after sharing a video of what reportedly appeared to be child molestation.

The BBBofC issued a statement that while Bakole (15-1, 12 KO) is not presently licensed, they are “aware of the situation and will monitor accordingly.”

Hanlon’s Razor reminds us to “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity,” but he’d better have a good damn reason why his first response wasn’t to trace the video’s source as far as he could and then report it to the police. Getting punched in the head for a living is no excuse for this level of idiocy.

Bakole is 4-0 with four knockouts since an upset loss to Michael Hunter, recently dispatching Kevin Johnson and Rodney Harrison Hernandez in a one-month span.
