It’s no secret that Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has been trying to line up some of his fighters against the Charlo brothers, even going so far as calling them ‘Cubs Only’, and now Hearn has managed to get Jermall Charlo directly on the line during a live social media video. This is basically how it went down...
“Who you do want?” Hearn asks Charlo.
“Who you got?” Charlo responds.
“You tell me. Andrade?...A lot of people talk about you fighting Chris Eubank Jr.” Hearn mentions.
“Hey, we still working. Quarantine or not, ask Al,” Charlo replies. “Ask Al Haymon.”
“Who?! Who’s that?” Hearn asks facetiously. “You told me you were your own boss, ‘Lions Only.’ What about GGG?! Canelo? What you got for Canelo? Billy Joe Saunders, he wants a go.”
“Stop playin’ with me. You know who to fuckin’ call,” Charlo says.
“By the way, I saw your crib,” Hearn replies. “I’ve got to say, I was highly impressed. Highly impressed. I mean, imagine making all that money for not fighting anybody.”
