ESPN2 to air Ali, Tyson classics, plus Holyfield-Foreman tonight

The first fight begins at 7:00 PM Eastern

Muhammad Ali Punching George Foreman

Following in the footsteps of PBC and Showtime, ESPN will be digging into its vaults for some classic tussles this evening, offering a trio of Muhammad Ali fights, a quartet of Mike Tyson tussles, and the 1991 war between Evander Holyfield and George Foreman

The ESPN2 block starts at 7:00 PM Eastern and will run for seven hours. Top Rank’s press release, which offers some refresher blurbs on each fight and a more detailed schedule of what airs when, also makes mention of ESPN+’s archive.

ESPN+ also features a library of hundreds of the greatest fights in boxing history streaming on-demand, as well as more recent Top Rank on ESPN fight cards for replay. Among them are legendary heavyweight showdowns like Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier III, Ali vs. George Foreman, Joe Louis vs. Billy Conn, Mike Tyson vs. Larry Holmes, Jack Dempsey vs. Gene Tunney, Max Baer vs. James J. Braddock, Ali vs. Sonny Liston I & II, Fury-Wilder II and many more.

Refreshing your memory on legendary battles or watching them for the first time definitely ain’t a bad way to pass the time.
