By now you all know there isn’t a ton of interesting news going on in the sport and why, but I did happen to stumble across some rare training footage of the late great Muhammad Ali (some of which you may have never seen before), so thought it would be cool to share with all of you to help pass the time.
Over the course of this video segment we get to watch ‘The Greatest’ doing what he loved to do best, putting in the work before some of the biggest fights throughout his illustrious career. From chopping wood to running backwards in combat boots, Ali demonstrates a lot of old school training techniques that we don’t often see today.
And being that nearly all of the work fighters put in happens long before the opening bell rings, take some time to check out what a boxing icon had to do in order to physically and mentally prepare himself for battle.
