(It may be a bit early to think Aug. 22 is actually the last time Big Ed Hearn will have to hold fights in his garden, but it’s a bit early to say any fight will actually happen right now, so, y’know.)

Notes: Andrew Moloney’s Tuesday loss to Joshua Franco sends Moloney tumbling out of the top 10, and Franco coming in at No. 7. I thought about maybe keeping Moloney in and considered it, but he doesn’t have any actual results advantages over Rodriguez, Arroyo, and Cintron, and those guys are all good fighters. I had to ask myself, “OK, style-wise you thought Franco had a good shot with Moloney, so would the other three?” And the answer in every case was yes. Moloney’s a good fighter, but this is a really talented division.
