We’ll be here starting at 3 pm ET for live results updates and discussion today, so join in with us!
Kabayel, 27, is a German native and a former European heavyweight champion, a title he did not lose. He took the European belt in a vacant title fight against Herve Hubeaux in Feb. 2017, and has made successful defenses against Derek Chisora, Miljan Rovcanin, and Andriy Rudenko. Kabayel has a co-promotional deal with Top Rank, who intend to bring him to the United States when possible.
Lazaridis, 32, was born in Greece and now fights out of Germany, and has won four straight lower-tier fights. He has a pair of losses, to Erkan Teper in 2017 via very close decision and via knockout against Samuel Kadje in 2018.
The card will also feature 23-year-old heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru.
