MTK Global has three cards set for Tuesdays in August and early September (as early in September as possible, in fact), with all three cards being held behind closed doors in Wakefield, England. They will all air on ESPN+ in the United States.
Here’s the rundown.
Tuesday, Aug. 11
Junior lightweight contender Jono Carroll (18-1-1, 4 KO) will return to action, fresh off a strong Mar. 7 win over Scott Quigg. He’ll be facing Maxi Hughes (20-5-2, 4 KO) in a 10-round main event, with a catchweight of 133.
The card will also feature junior welterweight prospect Sean McComb (10-0, 5 KO) against Siar Ozgul (15-4, 3 KO); Craig MacIntyre (11-0-1, 4 KO) vs Darren Surtees (12-1, 8 KO) in another junior welterweight clash; Sahir Iqbal (7-0, 1 KO) vs Maredudd Thomas (11-0, 2 KO) in a welterweight bout; and Pierce O’Leary (4-0, 1 KO) vs Harry Limburn (6-0, 0 KO) in another junior welterweight fight.
Tuesday, Aug. 25
Welterweight Lewis Crocker (11-0, 6 KO) will take on Louis Greene (12-1, 7 KO) in a 10-round fight, and British and Commonwealth junior featherweight champ Lee McGregor (8-0, 6 KO) will take on Ryan Walker (11-1, 2 KO) in what appears to be a non-title fight.
The show also will see Gary Cully (10-0, 5 KO) vs Kieran Gething (9-2-2, 2 KO) in a junior welterweight fight; plus junior bantamweight Blane Hyland (3-0, 0 KO) in action and lightweight James McGivern making his pro debut.
Tuesday, Sept. 1
Philip Bowes (20-3, 3 KO) will defend his Commonwealth junior welterweight title, and the vacant British title will also be on the line as he faces Akeem Ennis-Brown (13-0, 1 KO) in a 12-round fight.
The rest of the show will feature Dan Azeez (11-0, 7 KO) vs Andre Sterling (11-2, 4 KO) in a 10-round light heavyweight bout; Darren Tetley (20-0, 9 KO) vs Liam Taylor (21-1-1, 10 KO) in a 10-round welterweight fight; Padraig McCrory (10-0, 4 KO) vs Mickey Ellison (12-2, 4 KO) at super middleweight; and Elliot Whale (2-0, 0 KO) vs Corey McCulloch (4-0, 0 KO).
