Tomorrow night’s ESPN main event was supposed to be featuring Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller, but with Miller managing to squander yet another opportunity by testing positive for banned substances, veteran Carlos Takam steps in as a late replacement to face Jerry Forrest.
Speaking to WBN, Forrest claims that Miller has been attempting murder by habitually using performance enhancing drugs to gain an edge over his opponents. Miller denies that he knowingly took any PEDs, but his credibility is also at an all-time low.
“I mean cheating, is cheating. At this point Jarrell Miller is attempting murder,” Forrest exclusively told World Boxing News. “I say that because he is using illegal drugs in a sport we use our bodies. One punch can end our life cycle. “So if he kills a man in the ring is it an accident if he is knowing using illegal drugs? The answer is simple for anyone. NO!”
Forrest would go on to say that he personally believes Miller is deserving of a lifetime ban from the sport after this latest infraction, but it remains to be seen whether or not his punishment will be that harsh. Lou DiBella, for one, doesn’t believe Miller should be banned from the sport for good, but he’s probably in the minority opinion on this one.
