Dillian Whyte is heavier but in much better shape than last we saw him in the ring.

Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin are set for tomorrow’s Matchroom Fight Camp heavyweight main event, and the co-feature between Katie Taylor and Delfine Persoon is also good to go.

Tomorrow’s show will stream live on DAZN at 2 pm ET, and Bad Left Hook will be here with full live coverage.

Whyte (27-1, 18 KO) weighed in at 252¼ pounds for the pivotal heavyweight showdown, nearly 20 pounds less than what we saw from him in Saudi Arabia last December in his last outing. It’s actually his lowest weight in his last three fights, his lowest since his Dec. 2018 rematch with Derek Chisora. Povetkin (35-2-1, 24 KO) weighed in at 224, which is right about normal for him.

The undisputed lightweight title co-feature is also set, as Katie Taylor (15-0, 16 KO) weighed in at 134¼, with Delfine Persoon (44-2, 18 KO) at 132¼ for their rematch, both of them comfortably below the 135-pound limit. Taylor won a disputed majority decision over Persoon almost 15 months ago in New York.

The rest of the undercard bouts are also good to go. Weights for those:

  • Luther Clay 145½ vs Chris Kongo 145¼
  • Alen Babic 205 vs Shawndell Winters 194
  • Jack Cullen 164¼ vs Zak Chelli 164½

Bad Left Hook will have live coverage for Whyte-Povetkin, Taylor-Persoon 2, and the rest of Saturday’s card at 2 pm ET. Sign up for DAZN here to join us!
