Fury vs Joshua: Tyson Fury promises to smash Anthony Joshua in three rounds

It feels like we’re on the verge of a huge announcement.

Ok boxing fans, it might be time to start getting excited. After we’ve heard from promoters over the past several weeks that it’s looking likely an undisputed heavyweight title unification between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will be happening next, Fury bolsters that claim with a recently uploaded video where he says he planning to take Joshua out in short order.

“Tyson Fury, the Gypsy King. the heavyweight champion of the world — YES! — just got off the phone from Sugar Hill Steward in America. We’re gonna smash AJ! One round, two rounds, three rounds, done! Can’t wait.”

For now the only thing seemingly holding up Joshua-Fury are a few logistical matters that are expected to be sorted out in the near future — namely the venue, broadcasters, and a man by the name of Oleksandr Usyk.

Usyk remains Joshua’s WBO mandatory challenger but recent reports suggest that Usyk could instead face Joe Joyce for an interim world title while taking a step-aside offer to make way for Joshua-Fury. Hopefully we’ll have official confirmation of the fight sooner than later.
