The ESPN network has announced that they’ve reached a deal to extend Timothy Bradley Jr’s contract to serve the network as a boxing analyst and color commentator. Bradley has been working as a ringside analyst for the network ever since he retired from professional fighting back in 2016. In his role, Bradley will continue to appear on a variety of ESPN platforms as it pertains to the sweet science.
“We are thrilled to have Tim continuing his role with Top Rank on ESPN. His expertise, knowledge and passion for the sport makes him an incredible part of our Top Rank on ESPN team,” said Mark Gross, ESPN senior vice president, production and remote events.
Bradley himself expressed his gratitude for the network continuing to show faith in his candor and ability, and promises to continue giving boxing fans his real, honest take on the sport — something he’s never been shy about doing.
And whether or not you agree with all of Bradley’s takes on boxing, the man is authentic as it gets and is certainly a credit to the sport we all know and love. So congratulations to Bradley. I look forward to listening to him bicker with Andre Ward ringside for years to come.
