Thursday, October 14

UFC Fight Pass, 9:00 pm ET, Lester Martinez vs Raiko Santana. A pretty standard RJJ Boxing bill from Los Mochis.

Friday, October 15

ESPN+, 8:25 pm ET, Emanuel Navarrete vs Joet Gonzalez. Even ESPN.com’s schedule page doesn’t have anything else listed for this show right now, and that’s a late start time when you include a full undercard, whatever it’ll be, but we’ll be here with coverage all the way through. Navarrete won’t be easy by any means, but is a much better style matchup for Gonzalez than Shakur Stevenson was, and I’d expect a good fight out of this one. Bad Left Hook will have live coverage.

UFC Fight Pass, 9:00 pm ET, Santiago Dominguez vs Jesus Antonio Rubio. A pretty standard RJJ Boxing bill from Los Mochis.

Telemundo, 11:30 pm ET, Axel Aragon Vega vs Armando Torres.

Other Shows: Tasif Khan vs TBA (Fightzone, United Kingdom)

Saturday, October 16

Sky Sports (UK), 2:00 pm ET, Hughie Fury vs Christian Hammer, Savannah Marshall vs Lolita Muzeya, Lewis Ritson vs Hank Lundy, Chris Eubank Jr vs Wanik Awdijan. “BOXXER” are back for the second show on Sky, with Eubank getting a late call for a fight here after losing his Oct. 2 bout. The Hughie Fury experiment continues, Savannah Marshall takes on about as good an opponent as she’ll get at 160, and Ritson-Lundy could be pretty interesting; Ritson has been inconsistent and Lundy still has a lot of fighting spirit in him, especially at this level in a winnable matchup.

FITE, 6:00 pm ET, Daniel Gonzalez vs Petros Ananyan, Cletus Seldin vs William Silva. Triller are keeping their date at Barclays and have brought in popular local fighter Cletus Seldin for this TrillerVerz card. I mean, it’s not much, but it’s a show and at least indicates Triller aren’t yet totally throwing in the towel on their boxing venture. Lou DiBella is the promoter of record for the event, which, again, I think that’s the sort of thing they should probably try doing going forward. Since it’s TrillerVerz there will be music, too, but I don’t think it’s a rap battle this time. I could be wrong and the most important thing is I don’t care, nor do I think it’s important.

DAZN, 7:30 pm ET, Mikey Garcia vs Sandor Martin, Elwin Soto vs Jonathan Gonzalez, Esteban Bermudez vs Jesse Rodriguez. The main event is Garcia’s return after another lengthy absence, and frankly a big step back for him even from Jessie Vargas, let alone Errol Spence. The better fights on paper are the latter pair, both at 108 lbs. Soto is a blast to watch and he’ll be defending his WBO belt against Gonzalez, a Mexico-Puerto Rico matchup that could be very fun. Bermudez upset Carlos Canizales in May to win a secondary WBA belt, which he defends here against “Bam” Rodriguez, a promising prospect looking to graduate to contender in a good, competitive division. Bad Left Hook will have live coverage.

Other Shows: Nestor Adrian Maidana vs Daniel Alejandro Combi (Argentina, Canal 9) ... Franco Maximiliano Ocampo vs Nahuel Alberto Galesi (Argentina, TyC Sports)
