Rolando Romero expects Gervonta Davis to be the easiest fight of his career

Rolly is looking forward to making quick work of ‘Tank’ Davis when they finally meet.

Wil Esco is an assistant editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2014.

Fight Hub TV was able to catch up with Rolando Romero momentarily over the weekend and asked him about his big upcoming fight against Gervonta Davis, who he’ll be taking on in a December 5 PPV bout. With Romero asking for this fight for some time now, he says he fully plans to deliver in emphatic fashion.

“Rolly knocks Tank the fuck out and becomes the face of boxing,” Romero said. “I’m the one that’s been calling him out for like what, three, four years now? I’ve been calling him out since 2017. I’ve been calling him out for a very, very long time and I finally got him. I’m gonna knock him the fuck out, ya’ll gonna see this shit, it’s gonna be the easiest fight of my life.”

There’s no question this fight has enough bad blood between the competitors to ensure things heat up once the first bell rings (and probably well before then), and considering the style matchup it should be well-suited as an action fight. If Romero is able to win this fight, well, it would be massive for his career prospects going forward. We’ll just have to wait and see if Romero will be able to deliver on all of his brash talk.
