It looks like we’ll finally see Lopez-Kambosos.

Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr look to finally have their fight settled in for yet another date, though this time promoted by a boxing promotional company on an outlet that knows what they’re doing, as Mike Coppinger reports that Lopez-Kambosos looks likely to land on DAZN on Nov. 27, following Ryan Garcia pulling out of his planned fight with Joseph Diaz Jr on that date.

We’ve been over the forsaken saga of Lopez (16-0, 12 KO) and Kambosos (19-0, 10 KO) a million times at this point. You know about the Triller purse bid, the six scrapped dates, and Triller ultimately pulling the plug on trying to promote the fight, leaving it in the hands of Matchroom Boxing, who placed second in the purse bid early this year.

Matchroom will be promoting the fight, which was last tentatively scheduled for Oct. 16, with Kambosos refusing to once again move the fight from Oct. 4 unless he got a reported $400,000 extra.

Coming together on pretty short notice on the Matchroom side, you shouldn’t expect a big undercard or anything, and it’ll be a one-off for Lopez on DAZN, as he’d already originally hoped to have been back on ESPN airwaves by now.
