Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury live streaming press conference ahead of Canelo vs Plant

Jake Paul is in Las Vegas as Showtime looks to take advantage of the Canelo-Plant buzz today.

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are set to face one another on December 18 in a Showtime pay-per-view main event, and like all mega-important, big-time boxing fights, they’re popping their heads up during another mega-important, big-time fight weekend.

With Canelo-Plant coming to us tonight, also a Showtime pay-per-view, Paul and Fury are in Las Vegas to officially announce their fight with a press conference, which you can stream live up top at 2 pm ET.

Paul (4-0, 3 KO) is coming off of the most serious test of his novelty boxing career, beating Tyron Woodley via decision on Aug. 29 in Cleveland. Fury (7-0, 4 KO), the half-brother of heavyweight king Tyson Fury, also fought on that card, winning a four-round decision over Anthony Taylor, and not exactly setting the world ablaze with his performance.

Paul vs Fury has been brewing for a while now, and the deal is done. Fury will not be in attendance at today’s presser, but his new trainer SugarHill Steward — who is Tyson’s current trainer — will be there in his place to, I don’t know, make a ridiculous bet for children with Jake Paul, I suppose.

Paul vs Fury will take place in Tampa, Fla., and will reportedly also feature the boxing debut of 37-year-old former NBA star Deron Williams, who may face 38-year-old former NFL star Frank Gore.
