The April 17 Triller Fight Club pay-per-view headlined by Jake Paul vs Ben Askren is officially set for Atlanta, with Mercedes-Benz Stadium — home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons — to host the event.

“Our vision of big fights, big entertainment and world class events can only fit into a world class venue, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium fits that vision,” said Triller’s Ryan Kavanaugh. “April 17th will have an element of surprise and action for everyone, from music fans to the casual and diehard fight fan. The way we will present the night in this state-of-the-art venue will continue to redefine consumer engagement for a global consumer.”

If you’re a normal person and your eyes gloss over at things like “redefine consumer engagement for a global consumer” it just means there will probably be two or three mini-concerts between fights, one of which will be Antonio Tarver vs Frank Mir, and another of which will be Regis Prograis vs Ivan Redkach. Those are reports from media, and were not mentioned in the official release, I should say.

The Paul-Askren event is being advertised as a four-hour show, which will start at 8 pm ET on Saturday, April 17. All the traditional pay-per-view outlets will carry the show in the U.S. and Canada, and FITE will be backing online sales for those who don’t have cable or satellite.
