Showtime’s May 29th Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire card is set to land in Carson, California’s Dignity Health Sports Park with a limited capacity, with tickets releasing tomorrow (April 29th). The announcement also confirms the reported co-feature between Subriel Matias and Batyrzhan Jukembayev, though it does not mention the Reymart Gaballo-Emmanuel Rodriguez rematch previously linked to the card.

Even if it’s just those first two fights, however, it’s a damn fine card. Oubaali (17-0, 12 KO) has quietly established himself as one of the best bantamweights in the game and Donaire (40-6, 26 KO) breathed new life into his career in his 2019 war against Naoya Inoue. Matias (16-1, 16 KO) vs. Jukembayev (18-0, 14 KO), meanwhile, pits a brutally rugged contender against a highly promising but mostly untested prospect.

It will, unfortunately, run head-to-head with Devin Haney vs. Jorge Linares on DAZN. We’ll keep you appraised as the undercard develops so you all can make an informed decision on which to watch.
