dDAZN’s July 9 doubleheader featuring Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez vs Sullivan Barrera and Joseph Diaz Jr vs Javier Fortuna has added two more fights to the undercard.

Seniesa “Superbad” Estrada (20-0, 8 KO) will challenge Tenkai Tsunami (28-12-1, 16 KO) for her WBO junior flyweight title, looking to secure her second world championship since claiming the WBA minimum title in her last time out against Anabel Ortiz.

In the opening bout of the DAZN card, a pair of Golden Boy’s undefeated lightweight prospects face off when Hector Tanajara (19-0, 5 KO) takes on William Zepeda (22-0, 20 KO).

Despite a flashy record, Zepeda is largely untested to this point of his career. This bout will mark his second time competing in the United States, having won a step-up against Roberto Ramirez (23-2-1, 16 KO) in his last fight on the undercard of Ring City USA’s November 19, 2020 event featuring O’Shaquie Foster vs Miguel Roman.

Tanajara was himself scheduled to appear in a Ring City USA event against Alberto Machado before withdrawing with an illness. Machado would go on to lose by 6th-round knockout to Tanajara’s replacement, Angel Fiero.

Tanajara has faced tougher competition than Zepeda thus far, beating the likes of Juan Carlos Burgos and WBA “regular” super-featherweight belt-holder Roger Gutierrez. But, a lack of punching power may even the playing field in what should be a competitive bout to kick off this event.
