Boxing is Popular in the US, but not Boxers

Here's a Kevin Iole article that shows Boxing is more popular than MMA, hockey, tennis, or golf, but the current boxers aren't. Retired boxers took the top 6 spots of most popular. Manny Pac was the most popular active fighter, followed by Chavez Sr. Jake Paul was tied with Davis, GGG, & Crawford as favorites, just behind Joshua, and ahead of Spence & Lopez. A lot of interesting ways to look at the polling, and I have my take. Boxing, as I've always believed, is a very popular sport. Today's boxers, on the other hand, are mostly forgettable. The way boxing is presented contributes greatly to this. It looks like there's an audience ready to receive boxing. It's up to the boxing community to deliver it to them.
