Ahead of Sunday’s Showtime PPV headlined by Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul, Mayweather tells ESPN that he has absolutely no worries heading into the bout, knowing that he doesn’t even need to bring the best out of himself in order to upend Paul. That’s probably not a revelation to most of you out there, but it’s a thing that’s been said.
“These guys (the Pauls) have done good. I take my hat off to these guys, they done good to fool the public about being some real fighters,” Mayweather said. “You gonna find out Sunday, man. This is the truth. This is real, man. And I ain’t gotta use my A-game. I ain’t gotta use my A-game, my B-game, my C-game — I can use my Z-game, don’t even gotta hit him hard and the results gonna be the same.”
Mayweather-Paul will air live from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens starting at 8 p.m. ET, also featuring Badou Jack vs Dervin Colina, Jarrett Hurd vs Luis Arias (both real, sanctioned fights), and former NFL receiver Chad Johnson facing Brian Maxwell in an exhibition.
