Tonight at 10 pm ET and 4 am ET, Olympic boxing is back, as we’ve got fights in various weight classes from Tokyo, kicking off the action that will last us the next couple of weeks.
We’ll have live updates and highlights for both sessions, streaming live on NBCOlympics.com in the U.S.:
At 10 pm ET, we’ll see the women’s featherweight, women’s welterweight, men’s featherweight, men’s welterweight, and men’s heavyweight divisions in action.
At 4 am ET, we’ll see the women’s featherweight, men’s featherweight, men’s welterweight, and men’s super heavyweight divisions compete.
There should be plenty to see, and having covered London 2012 and Rio 2016 live, I can personally say a lot of the best fun comes in the early rounds, similar to the March Madness tournament, which peaks for many in the opening two rounds with the upsets and “Cinderella stories” taking shape.
We’ll be here tonight with live coverage of both sessions as we get going at Tokyo 2020.
