Timothy Bradley favors Errol Spence to beat Manny Pacquiao in welterweight collision

Bradley breaks down the big upcoming welterweight title fight.

Former champion and current boxing analyst Tim Bradley talks to Fight Hub TV about his the upcoming welterweight showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence. In Bradley’s estimation Spence is rightfully the favorite in this fight, but doesn’t exactly discount Pacquiao’s chances to pull off the win. Check out what Bradley had to say below.

Bradley on Pacquiao-Spence

“I think it’s gonna be a great fight. I think Manny Pacquiao, it just all depends on what he has left. Honestly, if you had a younger Pacquiao I think he would be the favorite in this fight. But you have a younger Errol Spence, bigger guy, stronger guy — I’m sure you’ve heard this over by many, many, many guys that’s attached to boxing, but this distance control is going to be very important I believe for Errol Spence.

“If he can control the distance on the outside and not allow him to get on the inside and close the gap on him quickly, he has a really good chance at beating and defeating Manny Pacquiao. Quite easily. But Manny’s gonna come out very quick, he’s gonna test him early, Errol Spence takes a little time to warm up a bit, he does make adjustments on the fly, quickly, very quickly he can adjust his distance, adjust his range. He gets that jab pumping, that’s gonna be something that Manny’s gonna have to deal with, worry about, is that jab constantly in his face, and that breaks the timing of fighters.

“It’s really hard to get inside a guy that has a really good jab like Errol Spence, and very disciplined with his hands too from the outside. So, great fight though. I’m gonna favor Errol Spence but you can never count Manny Pacquiao out, he definitely has a puncher’s chance, he has a ton of experience.”
