Now just a few days away from Saturday night’s welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas, both fighters made their grand arrivals in Las Vegas which can be viewed in full above thanks to our friends at Fight Hub TV.
When Pacquiao was asked about facing Ugas as a late replacement opponent after Errol Spence was forced to withdraw from this weekend’s bout, Pacquiao said he has no reservations about the change.
“It’s not hard for me,” Pacquiao said about making the adjustment to facing Ugas. “In two days I’m able to adjust right away because I’ve been fighting right-handed (fighters). So it’s not really difficult unless your fighting a right-handed and it switch to left-handed.”
Pacquiao was then asked about his criticism of the WBA’s stripping of his title and why he would want to fight for it again.
“Well, this is not only the belt but it’s about my legacy, my name and also my honor — honor for my career and honor for my country.”
