Jake Paul had to go a full eight rounds tonight against Tyron Woodley, but got the split decision win in Cleveland in a fight that more likely than not underwhelmed for a fair bit of its audience.
Paul (4-0, 3 KO) didn’t exactly sound like he was ready to hop back into a fight, but Woodley challenged him to a rematch. That will have to wait until it’s felt out, probably; even if this fight did the big pay-per-view numbers Showtime and the Paul camp are saying it did, there simply might not be much interest in seeing it again. There wasn’t actually any real controversy in the scoring, other than Woodley winning on one card.
As usual, the pros weren’t exactly impressed with Jake Paul, but they never really have been, and probably aren’t going to be.
Still, here’s what some of the veterans of the fight game thought about Paul-Woodley:
Logan is better than Jake
