One of September’s best fights is now one of November’s best fights.

Showtime has announced that their Stephen Fulton vs. Brandon Figueroa tripleheader, originally scheduled for this coming Saturday before Figueroa caught COVID, is back on for November 27th.

Fulton (19-0, 8 KO) and Figueroa (22-0-1, 17 KO) have clearly established themselves as two of the best 122-pounders on the planet, respectively claiming the WBO and WBC titles in impressive fashion. Fulton thoroughly outclassed Angelo Leo, surrendering a combined four of 36 rounds on the judges, while Figueroa flattened Luis Nery with a vicious body shot. These are two highly skilled, highly entertaining boxers who should put on a great fight.

The supporting cast remains intact. Top bantamweight prospect Ra’eese Aleem (18-0, 12 KO) takes on Eduardo Baez (19-1-2, 16 KO), who’s beaten two consecutive unbeaten fighters, and Gary Antonio Russell (18-0, 12 KO) opens the show against Alejandro Barrios (24-2-5, 13 KO), who hasn’t lost since 2014 and fought Jerwin Ancajas to a controversial draw.

It’s a very strong card top to bottom and I’m glad we won’t have to wait too long to see it go down.
