‘You not gonna live off my blood’: Jarrell Miller discusses dispute with promoter Dmitry Salita

Jarrell Miller claims Dmitry Salita hasn’t done right by him in his career, and will look to move on from him once he completes his contract.

Jarrell Miller says Dmirty Salita has kept his hand in his pocket without providing any meaningful financial support to his career.

As Jarrell Miller heads into the biggest opportunity he’s had in some time this weekend, it seems there’s still some turmoil under the surface. Here, in a conversation with Fight Hype, Miller talks about Anthony Joshua no longer being inclined to fight him before he explains why he’s had some not so friendly words towards his promoter Dmitry Salita, who he believes has been taking advantage of him. Check out some excerpts below.

Miller on Anthony Joshua no longer having any interest in fighting him

“AJ’s a punk bitch. They gonna try the whole me failing my test as an excuse. But like I said, when the time is right I’m going to release all documentation to show that it’s all bullshit. I’m not Conor Benn, I didn’t fail for no testosterone, I didn’t fail for no injectable drugs. People don’t do their homework. I mean, none of it was ever steroids but no one cares about the real truth and I stopped talking about it. I’m a warrior, fuck you, suck my dick; I’m gonna show you exactly what I’m capable of.”

On being on bad terms with his own promoter, Dmitry Salita

“I’m speaking facts. I’m not here to tarnish anybody name. I’ve known Salita since I was 16 years old, he’s not done right by me in my career. There’s a lot of things that I have to go find out in the fine prints, have to go back and maneuver. And, you know, hands in my pockets, he doesn’t pay for camps, he doesn’t put money up for testing. You know, I’ve tested for two years, that came out of my pocket and my private investors.

“He’s just not a good guy when it comes to me. Otto Wallin was with him, Otto Wallin is praising Allah that he’s no longer with him. Jermaine Franklin has a problem with him before a big fight, sending me lawsuits and all this kind of stuff a week before I’m getting ready for this fight. He’s just not a good person, man. Not to me, especially.

“So I’m not talking anything that’s beyond the truth, I’m speaking truth, God as my witness...he’s not the one putting blood, sweat, and tears getting into the ring. I am. He had his career and he had his chance and he blew it. Now it’s my turn and you not gonna live off my blood. I owe you two fights and that’s it, keep it moving. You’re not going to try to bamboozle me to sign more fights with him, plain and simple.”
