After months of hostility, trash talk, and near-physical confrontations that led to controversy this week over separate press conferences and separate weigh-ins for the fighters, Danny Garcia and Zab Judah will finally meet tonight on Showtime from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with Garcia's WBC and WBA junior welterweight titles on the line.
Fight Time: 9:00 pm EDT
Venue: Barclays Center - Brooklyn, New York
TV: Showtime (US)
Undercard: In the televised co-feature, Peter Quillin defends the WBO middleweight title against Danny Garcia ... Danny Jacobs takes on Keenan Collins, with highlights to be aired on Showtime ... Prospects Eddie Gomez, Zachary Ochoa, Marcus Browne, and Miguel Cartagena are in action ... Veterans Luis Collazo and Miguel Callist will meet in an eight-round welterweight bout.
Judah (42-7, 29 KO) is looking to win his first world title since he dropped the WBC welterweight belt to Carlos Baldomir in 2006, while Garcia is hoping to add another notable name to his sheet. Quillin and Guerrero should provide good action in the co-feature, as both are young fighters who bring some excitement.
BLH will have live coverage.
